Based in Fresno, California, Atomic Tone is husband-and-wife team Brian and Ellen Heunergardt. They've come up with a drive pedal that effortlessly navigates between very light overdrive through to doom-laden saturated, sagged fuzz, and everything between. Brian has placed the Bass control pre-distortion to help tighten or pillow out the gain circuit, while the treble control is post-distortion enabling precise top-end control. A simple three-way toggle lets you choose between overdrive (down); overdrive + distortion (middle) and fuzz/distortion (top). Thanks to the Bass control all gain types can be made tight or 'pillowy' and there's really not a bad spot on any of the dials. This one should interest anyone looking for something special that can span a LOT of gain territory. Lovely work, Brian and Ellen!
