Parker has developed one of the most unique guitars on the planet. This Parker MaxxFly DF824 is extremely light weighing in at a meager 5 lb 7 oz. Loaded with a Seymour Duncan TB14 Humbucker, 2 Seymour Duncan SSL6 single coils and a Graph Tech™ ghost® piezo the Parker MaxxFly DF824 has a great selection of cool tones. The bridge pickup is beefy and full. Excellent mid range with a nice tight high end. Bass has enough low end rumble without being muddy. The single coils have a nice round tone with no high end brittleness. Nice mid range with a subtle low end. The piezo is excellent. Not thin or brittle sounding. Can be blended with the magnetic pickups for more tonal variation.
The Parker MaxxFly DF824 has a Basswood neck with a carbon fiber fretboard with stainless steel frets. Designed for speed and comfort this neck will appeal to all types of players. Fret work is excellent. Bends are a breeze.
