Joel demos an exciting duo: a '61 Gibson ES-355 Stereo in Cherry and its partner in crime, Gibson GA-79RVT 2x10 Combo.
These two vintage pieces pair together like peas in a pod, or peanut butter and jelly - the ES-355's stereo capabilities are perfectly matched with the GA-79RVT's 2x10 full stereo setup: the neck pickup comes out of the left speaker, and the bridge pickup occupies the right (if facing the front of the amp). To make matters more psychedelic, the amp's reverb and tremolo circuits project only from the bridge pickup speaker, leaving the neck pickup nearly completely dry.
For full stereo effect, listen with headphones!
Purchased as a pair but sold separately, these two excellent pieces of gear are the best of friends.
