Hey guys! It's becoming more of a challenge to keep these vids under ten minutes - IG needs to verify me ASAP! (as if...) Had to redo this one twice, cause I was trying to cover the fundamentals rather extensively. My goal is to give you some new impulses without requiring a super deep background, but I felt this one needed a bit of context. Hope I found the right balance!
Still pitching those on-on-one slots, if only to alleviate my guilt about going all cliff notes on these awesome concepts! (Most of which I didn't come up with of course, but they're way too much fun to keep a secret!)
Showcasing some alternative voicings for basic 4-note chords today that add subtle variety to your progressions without actually introducing additional notes. Great for when you're going for a more accessible sound, but still want to stand out or have an arrangement issue to solve (watch the vid for more on that...). The example tune isn't out - actually, it doesn't even have a name yet and I can't share the working title, it's too dumb.
