http://www.biglloyde.com There are thousands of overdrives available, most very similar. My goal with the F-6 wasn't to re-invent the overdrive, but rather refine it, so that the tone remains distinctly classic, but with improved versatility and usability. It begins with a high impedance jfet buffer preserving your guitar signal for the Op-Amp circuit. The headroom and output have been increased enough to allow it to work as a clean boost, but still break up at higher drive settings where the distortion is more open and natural. The Bass control is designed to give a good low end boost , without being overpowering. The Mid Shape sweeps the mid roll-off frequency, from bright and aggressive with emphasis on the high mid-range, to warm and round with emphasis on the lower mid-range. This gives a lot of tonal versatility when used in conjunction with the the Bass and Treble controls. All jacks and foot-switch are panel mount style, hand wired to the PCB to prevent stress damage to the solder, traces, and components. And, it's all built on a Relay True Bypass system so your tone is 100% mechanically disconnected when bypassed.
