Dan Wean demonstrates this 1961 Epiphone Texan. This is an outstanding early example of this majestic guitar, first introduced in 1958. It features the small Epiphone headstock, a vibrant sunburst finish and unparalleled playability. The tone is exactly what you'd expect from an early Texan, warm, booming and subtle at the same time. A few more years into the 60's, Paul McCartney would make the Texan his choice of acoustics on many of The Beatles hits, including "Yesterday". This one sounds even better, if you can believe it!
