Fender® Custom Shop Jason Smith Masterbuilt '62 Telecaster Custom Relic Candy Apple Red is spectacular!
Jason Smith makes some great guitars and this 62 Telecaster Custom is no exception. The hand wound 63 telecaster pickups have more of a rock/blues tone than country. Bridge pickup up is gritty and really shines with just a touch of overdrive on the amp. The neck pickup is well balanced with no low end muddiness and a nice mid range punch. The 60's Oval C neck shape is wonderful. Very easy to play and big bends and fast licks are a breeze to play.
