Hi guys a good friend of mine from Instagram ( @dontforgetthefuzz ) was kind enough to recently send out a Preacher Fuzz for me to try !! For those who don’t know Pete at Homestead amps worked alongside Cesar Diaz before he parted ways with us , if you look at some of the later Square face Fuzz pedals you will see Pete’s signature inside . The preacher fuzz is pretty much the Square face under a different name and they are almost as hard to source as the originals !!
I’ve only had chance to play this quietly so far ( stay tuned , full review in coming days ) but from memory to my original it’s almost like for like !!
In this video I’m running it before my favoured Wah ( 1967 Scripture that looks like a picture internally) and rolling the guitar pot off to make it even more Vocal !! My favourite way to test out a Fuzz..
