In this upload we jump almost straight into the TONE , and hopefully help you choose the PICKUP upgrade you've been looking for.
Over the last four or five months Mark Foley and I have been testing pickup ingredients :- inductance, capacitance and resistance relationships along with magnet strengths and coil wire size and insulation and how all these things have to be perfectly balanced and accounted for to produce the Perfect Stratocaster Tone.
Without giving any thing else away ill let you make your own mind up on the tone in this video - after all everything is subjective ⭕️
For the Gear heads , the signal chain is as pure as can be.
I'm using my Guitarbuild Strat assembled by Retro 169, armed with Mark foleys Prototypes, straight into a 1964 Fender Vibroverb with the speaker out going to an oversized 2x12 with Jensen Nighthawks in [ Recommendation from my good friend Steve at Venus witch ] and that's it.
Recorded with a Voodoo Mic straight into an apogee duet then into gargeband with zero adjustments to the EQ section.
I'm pretty certain that's just about everything, if you have any questions regarding these pickups make sure to drop them below in the comments section.
