Phil Short gives an introduction to using both the whole-half and half-whole diminished scale patterns in this short electric guitar lesson. If you’ve never dipped a toe in diminished waters, this is the perfect starting place and will soon have you adding some George Lynch and Marty Friedman-style spice to your lead solos! Phil’s go-to Elixir Strings are the OPTIWEB Coated electrics.
