The Parasite Overdrive by Sydney Australia's Colortone Pedals is a good looking and even better sounding JFET based Overdrive. It has active bass and treble controls, a 'Bass' toggle that transforms bass response into something akin to a quad box; a 'Bright' control that engages a pre-drive treble boost and a Gain control that covers everything from minor grit through to full-blown tube-like sag. This is a pedal for the ages. Comparisons have been made to classics but I feel the Parasite has its own thing happening. Lovely work, Adrian!
