If you're a 70s or 80s kid like me chances are you will be very familiar with the tones of one Mr Tom Scholz and his band Boston. Mr Scholz invented tons of gear to produce and record those tones. He also wrote the hit songs - the guy's a genius. Scholz Research & Development came a few years later and the Rockman was born. Then a whole bunch of cool rack stuff. The Distortion Generator was one of those devices and is still used and coveted today. The folks at GOAT (Rancher.Inc) of Japan have basically cloned the now out-of-production Distortion Generator and popped it into a pedal complete with all of the original's functions and two footswitches; one for on/off and the other for boost (LEAD). And it is a LOT of fun! It also sounds just like the real thing. Rock on.
