The Kuro Custom Audio Akuma is a thick, fat sounding fuzz. Controls are for volume, fuzz, intensity, hi and low. Intensity lets you decide how much to push the fuzz front end. Tone controls really help to shape its timbre from deep pushing bass to screaming highs. Awesome on both bass & guitar.

The Basses:
- MTD 435 Michael Tobias Design American quilted maple top on ash body, wenge neck and fretboard. Super pickups and preamp with additional 3 position midrange switch and coil cuts (Series, Parallel, and Single Coil)
- USA Fender Jazz bass. 1962 Reissue with Bartolini CBJD-1 hum cancelling pickups and John East Retro J preamp.
- Elrick Platinum 4 Neck-thru with Bartolini pickups and preamp.
The Amp:
Mesa Boogie Carbine M9 into a RoadReady 6x10 with 6 Eminence Legends CA10-8, no tweeter.
Speaker was mic'd with a Sennheiser MD 421 II
There is no DI signal on this one.
NO eq, audio controls, or compression were added.
