The Fowl Sounds Sonic Bronchitis XL distortion pedal has a JFET pre-amp stage, and your signal gets boosted and clipped by
the front end of its own power amp (LM386) These two stages create tube like overdrive with lots of dynamics, clarity and grit. This is specifically designed for bass and drop tunings. Controls are Volume, Gain, Tone and Blend to mix in the dry signal with the drive. Awesome on bass and guitar.

- MTD 435 Michael Tobias Design American maple burl top on poplar body, wenge neck and fretboard. Active Bartolini pickups and preamp.
- USA Fender Jazz bass. 1962 Reissue with Bartolini CBJD-1 hum cancelling pickups.
- Elrick Hybrid 4 with Bartolini pickups and preamp. Passive mode.
The Amp:
Mesa Boogie Carbine M9 into a RoadReady 6x10 with 6 Eminence Legends CA10-8, no tweeter.
Speaker was mic'd with a Sennheiser MD 421 II
There is no DI signal on this one.
NO eq, audio controls, or compression were added.
