Wife-and-husband singing/songwriting duo Kat & Alex have forged a signature sound for themselves born from a fresh, unexpected mix of Nashville twang and Latin-influenced sounds. Soulful and authentic, the pair blends English and Spanish lyrics into their homespun songwriting and performance style, offering up a catalog of tunes born from their bond with one another, their passion for cowboy culture, and deeply personal takes on long-running themes of love and loss. The pair is finding their groove in the music world after lighting up the streaming charts with their breakthrough track "How Many Times," releasing a self-titled EP with both English and Spanish versions of their newest songs. Kay & Alex joined us for an episode of Taylor Soundcheck to talk about their journey as musicians and to play their songs "I Want It All" and "Cowboys Need Sunsets."
