In this final lesson I thought I would give you guys a few Bluegrass licks to help you apply the open scales that you learned in the last lesson. These licks are not to difficult, but they do a pretty good job of showing you how to actually use your open scales to play Bluegrass leads. Take the ideas presented here and try to come up with your own Bluegrass licks! Also, some of my favorite flatpicking/Bluegrass artists are Dan Crary, Beppe Gambetta and Ricky Skaggs. Check them out for some musical inspiration! - Nate Savage
