In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Led Zeppelin, Fender and Jimmy Page have come together to re-create Jimmy's legendary 1959 Mirror Telecaster. Available now!
A bridge between The Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin sound, this iconic guitar can be heard on the opening riff of "Good Times Bad Times" and all throughout Led Zeppelin's debut album.
Dig into the history of the famed original! Gifted to Jimmy Page by Jeff Beck, the '59 Tele was part of the final days of The Yardbirds and responsible for some of the most legendary guitar tones in Led Zeppelin's history. As for those reflectors, picking up on an aesthetic of 1960s fashion and inspired by Syd Barrett, Jimmy applied a personal touch with the 8 round mirrors added to to the body of the guitar.
Designed with a 2-piece ash body, white blonde finish, single-coil pickups, rosewood fingerboard, and a dual top-loader bridge this special Tele comes with a printed Jimmy Page signature on the back of the headstock and the custom chrome neck plate.
Guitarist for David Byrne, Angie Swan, channels the spirit of generosity this comes with for an excellent first look at the features that make this guitar so special.
