Comparing the Super-Plex clean tone to my favorite clean tone settings on the original JTM 45 block end. I designed the SP to have this tone with everything set to '5'.
Sorry I spaced on the Wings riff. LOL
Most of the audio is coming from the RTA mic on the 4-12 cab. This mic is dead flat and very clinical. Useful for comparing and designing. But would not be my first choice to capture great clean tones. I'd be inclined to use a ribbon mic.
Cab is loaded with Creamback H75's.
The Audio precision APx515 analyzer was instrumental in capturing data from both amps, comparing and tweaking the SP. It has allowed me to measure things I could not previously and use that data to drive my designs.
