We've released new firmware for the DMC-3XL / DMC-4 Gen3, DMC-6 / DMC-8 Gen3, and the DPC-5 Gen3. Here's a rundown of the new features!
00:05 EXP MIDI Out - use the EXP jack as an additional MIDI output
01:13 NEW SETUP OPTIONS - new options for the TAP footswitch on DMC-6, 2FAVE double favorite switch, ACCESS MODE configuration, FACTORY RESET and more
08:33 ACCESS MODE - control Ableton Live, Loop Community Prime, MultiTracks Playback and more using MIDI notes (DMC-6 / DMC-8 only)
11:45 "DON'T CHANGE" option - set one or more of your devices to "dc" and they won't change when that preset is recalled. Useful for creating banks that change certain pedals but not others.
13:42 INTERFACE MODE - uses the MIDI-Y Cable to turn your DMC into a USB MIDI interface, suitable for updating firmware or editing your Strymon or other MIDI pedals.
EDIT: In the video I note that "Strymon have changed their firmware update method," but that's not quite true. The old method still works, but their preferred method is via Nixie as I mention in the video.
