The new Fender American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline features authentic, period-correct specs including a 7.25” radius maple fingerboard with vintage tall frets , a hard rock "C"-shaped maple neck and a gloss polyurethane finish. Other era-appropriate appointments include CuNiFe Wide-Range humbuckers, 6-saddle string-through body hardtail bridge with bent steel saddles and vintage-style hardware.
We invited guitarist Tim Stewart, whose credits include Lady Gaga, Rihanna, American Idol, Suicidal Tendencies, Janet Jackson and more, to dig into the Thinline, plugged into Fender's '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb combo amp.
