The Evolve Overdrive is a take on Pete Cornish's CC-1 low-gain overdrive. It features two clipping stages with a three-band active EQ at the end to really hone your sound. It can be used as a gentle to mid-gain overdrive, depending on how you crank the tone controls, or as a very versatile boost for the front end of your amp. The Evolve is different enough to warrant a spot on your board as there's not much else around that can do exactly what it does. Subtle, tonal goodness.
