JJ's Guitar Pickups: SOLID ROCK Set (Schecter F500T system clone)

Back around 1980 a certain Mr Knopfler acquired a Schecter 'Dream Machine' equipped with a set of Schecter F500T pickups and switching system. The pickups were a single coil configuration with big A5 lugs and a concentric dual-coil wind. The inner coil was pretty standard Strat-like and the same pickup's outer coil could be brought in, in series, with the flick of the pickup's dedicated toggle to fatten things up. The three pickups plus the 3 x 3-way toggles gave the user a total of 27 switching combinations. Fun! Ben Bailey at JJ's Pickups has meticulously replicated this system to the highest spec and now offers it, by special order, to all of us. And it's a lot of fun!
