A rat is a rat by any other name. Well, yes, but perhaps not if it's the 'Ratatouille' built by Roman Belonozhko of Shnobel Tone. Roman has taken the ProCo philosophy and applied it to his own circuit for a very satisfying distortion experience. The Ratatouille features a Filter control like the pedal that inspires it, but Roman's version is voiced a little more subtly. There's plenty of gain and volume on tap as well and the Ratatouille seems to get on with most amp types. Winner.
