The Florist is a collaborative effort between Benson Amps and Non-Human Audio. It all started with the Slow Loris, Non-Human’s unique dynamic modulating, slapback machine. After a meeting of the minds, both designers came up with an alternate approach to this touch sensitive effect and the result is something unlike any pedal you’ve heard. Simple put, you have two delay lines that you can mix in along with the dry signal. Each delay has its own character, with Wet A producing a dynamic dip in pitch when you dig in while lower intensities produces unpredictable chorus/vibrato effects. The second delay line has a much more aggressive delay twisting action, perfect for warped tape effects and experimental tape flanging when both Wet mixes are in play. Finally, the Ghosts switch engages feedback in both delay lines to the brink of self oscillation. The Florist is definitively an outside of the box effect but with careful usage, can be your go-to for those tracks that need a magic touch.
