Chords that use open strings (strings that are played but not fretted) on the guitar are called open position chords. Minor chords have a darker quality than the brighter-sounding major chords. Here, Nicholas Veinoglou demonstrates how to play three open minor chords (Em, Am, Dm), as well as how to put them together into a progression.
