I don't often do the 'award' thing, mainly because it's so subjective but also because I know how much effort every builder puts into their product. But when a pedal stops me in its tracks and makes me listen to its glorious tone, prompting me to put space between my guitar phrasing just to hear it, I take special notice. The Honey Moon Sweet Overdrive V3 by Aleks K Production is definitely something special for me. The combination of the two Drive controls together with the Filter and Tone makes this pedal useable - and inspirational - in almost any setting. So I'm giving this pedal my 2024 Overdrive of the Year Award. There are plenty of high quality details that I could list here but I suggest you take a listen and then visit the website for more info.
