The Prism III by Shift Line really stands alone where multi-effect pedals are concerned. There are 22 algorithms ranging from double flange to chaotic noise, vibrato to harmonic tremolo, synth-like filters through to the best doubler algorithm I think I've ever heard. The Prism III is proper stereo in/out and has full MIDI control as well as expression control. There's Tap Tempo and a Detune function that can drag you down to Hell or elevate you to the heavens. Even the reverb algorithm which plays a minor role in many of the algorithms is superb. I have literally spent days getting to know this machine and I'm still discovering its hidden charms. If you want something that will enable and drive your creativity, something you could use in a 'normal' situation for things like chorus and tremolo, as well as something you could really twist your guitar, drum machine or synth tones with, then the PRISM III is for you. Too much fun. And built to last forever.
