Danelectro's Longhorn Baritone is a big, long, light streak of copper-sunburst fun. And some big old low notes! You'll get stacked volume/tone controls for each of the overwound lipstick pickups, immaculate build quality, 29" scale length (it can almost double as a bass) and an eeazzy ride. For this vid I've popped the Longhorn into a 1959 Fender 5F8 Twin Amp (Keith Urban's, in fact) and bypassed the speaker cab, running instead to a Leslie, some delays, the occasional harmonic tremolo and other stuff. You can do these things easily with an Axe-FX III. I just loved the clean and low tones of this guitar through that amp's preamp. The guitar is comfortable, a joy to play and hopefully a joy to listen to. You've done it again, Mr Ridinger!
There's another very similar take I uploaded earlier last week at https://youtu.be/vcjnxOoMtJQ
At the time of recording this guitar was not yet on the Danelectro site but can viewed (and purchased) from a few of the larger outlets like Sweetwater et al.
