This kit has 3 mesh toms, mesh snare, bass drum, plus crash with choke, triple zone ride and hi-hat cymbals. It comes with a hi-hat and bass drum pedal so you’ve got a complete kit that can kick out a huge sound straight away.

All of the heads, apart from the hi-hat, are duel or triple zone so you’ve got a ton of extra range on this kit and the hi-hat pedal has a half open feature for an authentic playing experience and sound.

The mesh pads are highly responsive with a bounceback and feel that closely replicates an acoustic kit and both the snare and toms are velocity sensitive so you can use a full range of different strokes and techniques.

This kit even allows you to create your own kits there are 59 save slots for easy recall later plus there’s a reverb effect and 4 band EQ so you can really fine tune your sound.

The kit has a full range of training features such as a metronome for timekeeping, ‘drum off’ function which allows you to hold down the rhythm end of the pre-loaded songs and a sequencer so you can record and store your performances.

Round the back, there’s a range of connectivity options.
USB and MIDI allow you to connect this kit to a computer for recording or to use it as a MIDI controller which opens up possibilities for expansion and accessing new sounds.

The stereo output can go straight into a drum monitor or amplifier if you want more volume, whilst the headphone jack can be used for silent practice sessions.

The aux in allows connection of an MP3 player so you can drum along to your favourite tracks.

There’s also space for three extra triggers so the 517 can grow and develop as you progress.
