Koch Quarantine Sessions present Uwe Janssen.
Uwe Janssen, singer and guitarist from Heidelberg/Germany with his main Amp for 8 years, a Koch Studiotone 20W used in this video without any pedals and other equipment.
He loves the vintage tone, uses mostly the lead channel with not too much gain and controls the sound with the volume pot on his Tonfuchs Booty, or LSL T-Bone guitar like a one channel amplifier.
On stage, there is mostly a Tubescreamer (MEK TD-1), or an older Marshall "The Guv´Nor" GV2 before the Studiotone, and a Digitech Hardwire CR-7 Chorus and a Boss Digital Delay DD3-3 in the effects loop. "I miss nothing, this is the sound I´ve been searching for years," he said!
For him, the biggest strength of the Studiotone is the assertiveness in the band context, without playing too loud.
