Taylor GT Urban Ash Grand Theater acoustic guitar designed by master builder Andy Powers brings portability, sustainability and comfort to a new body size in the Taylor lineup. Bigger than their travel-sized GS Mini and more petite than their smallest full-sized Grand Concert, this compact guitar boasts exquisite tone and detail that belies its form-factor. The GT premiers Taylor's innovative C-Class cantilevered bracing and new sustainably-sourced smoked eucalyptus fretboard — which possesses many of the same characteristics as ebony. Additional features include solid Urban Ash™ back and sides, solid spruce top, and it is available both with and without ES2 electronics.
Artist and innovator Beatie Wolfe has been collaborating with Taylor through a short film about her environmental protest piece "From Green to Red" which charts 800,000 years of our planet's CO2. We invited Wolfe to try out the GTe and share her first impressions.
