The Korg SV-2 Vintage 88-Key Stage Piano brings beloved vintage sounds to a graded-hammer action keybaord with a classic live interface (no screens or menu-diving). The SV-2 evolves from the SV-1 and includes more sounds, more memory, polyphony, presets, and control. Detail-oriented patches include vintage electric pianos, acoustic pianos, organs and beyond — from Wurly Bright to Japanese Grand to Tape Strings. Effects include EQ, amp modeling, modulation, reverb, and more — all given the warmth that only a KORG Valve Reactor 12AX7A vacuum tube can provide. A variety of I/O options like USB and MIDI mean you can have both vintage vibes and a modern keyboard that can control your rig. We caught up with Korg at NAMM 2020 to learn more about the features and functions of the new SV-2.
