(4x speed). In the final assembly of an Ultralite Xtender, a small amount of thread adhesive is applied to the inner threads of a string post. The string post is then inserted through the swivel plate. The swivel plate and string post are finally added to the main tuner assembly and the gear and screw are mounted from the front.
The tuner is then checked for smooth, fluid operation. If something isn't quite right, the tuner is torn apart and reworked until it functions perfectly.
