Mereba's sound combines elements of her musical journey—which spans folk, R&B, and rap—into a lush sonic world where storytelling is the foundation. From the early vocal influences of Whitney Houston and Kurt Cobain to learning the fingerpicking styles of early Americana folk songs, Mereba fuses these parts of her musical identity with drum programming, layered background vocals and poetic lyrics that are as vulnerable as they are memorable. The core elements of her songs are at home in any setting – which has led to collaborations with artists like 6LACK, J.I.D, and EARTHGANG.
