My take:
The OBNE Whitecap is a quirky, fun, and versatile new dual tremolo. It features both analog (right side) and digital (left side) tremolos, and it gets really fun when you combine these in different ways using the series/parallel function. I especially liked the implementation of the "ramp" control – hold down the tap button, select a secondary tempo, boom, done: now the Whitecap will ramp from one tempo to another when you hold the tap footswitch. Very slick. I loved playing through this pedal! It had some great classic tremolo sounds as well as really unique warbly / flange-y tones in parallel mode. Check it out!
