Sam Rankin performs his own composition on the Silvertone Acoustic 600.

The Silvertone 600 is as close a replica as possible to the 1958 original but with updated features. The previous hard wood body has been replaced by a solid Engelmann Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, and the old Ebonized fingerboard has been updated to Rosewood to give a balanced, even sound.

The Silvertone 600s are a classic throwback to the 1950s in their design, features and style and produce a nice thick balanced sound, whether strumming or picking.

They’re available in Mahogany, Natural and American Vintage Sunburst finishes and the Electro Acoustic 600E features a sophisticated Fishman Clearwave 60 preamp system that offers maximum control, performance and tone and there’s even a built in tuner with a LED display.

The original Silvertone 600 Guitar was a classic for acoustic rock and these reissues are a practical and authentic modernisation of the original and recreate the classic aesthetics of a timeless design.
