Jared Scharff is not your typical working guitarist. Though he's best known for being in the Saturday Night Live band, his versatility and musicianship have earned him a reputation as an in-demand session guitarist and landed him rinkside as the house guitar player for New York Rangers games at Madison Square Garden. As if that wasn’t enough he has his very own project, Pearl Lion.

We did our best to keep up with Jared in New York City to experience his different sonic identities and learn about the spark that got him going.
