Take A Daytrip's work as a production duo is borderless—from Lil Nas X’s debut album MONTERO to “Hero” by Weezer, and everything in between. Their knowledge of music theory and their understanding of how frequency makes people move fuels their approach to putting emotion first, genre second. As we toured their studio and watched them build a beat from scratch, we spoke with Denzel Baptiste and David Biral about their mutual passion for collecting analog synthesizers, how their friendship shapes their collaboration, and their mission to see the world through music.
