We stopped by the Shure booth at NAMM 2023 to dig into the all-new GLX-D+ Dual Band Wireless Systems with Jon Lopes, Shure's associate global marketing manager for musicians and consumer audio.
Jon took us through all the benefits of the new dual band system, explaining the benefits of being able to operate in in both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz ranges, which opens up significant bandwidth to reduce interference and ensure clarity of signal transmission of your handheld microphones, headsets, guitar transmitters and more.
Jon also broke down some of the other user-friendly features like rechargeable lithium batteries, which support quick charge capabilities and offer up to 12 hours of use. Additionally, Jon touched on the GLXD16+ digital wireless guitar pedal system, as well as the different microphone options, from headsets and lavaliers to Shure's classic SM58, BETA 58A and BETA 87A handheld models.
