The major pentatonic scale is one of the most versatile and useful scales on the guitar. It has a bright, open sound and is very easy to move around the guitar neck to play in any key. In this video, Nicholas Veinoglou demonstrates how to play the G major pentatonic scale, and then shows how the scale shape works along the fretboard.
