I tested out the RevoNext RX8, QT2S, and QT3S in ear headphones. Between these three Revonext headphones. There is something for everyone.
First off, for the $20 range, the RX8 are dual driver headphones. This is pretty much unheard of in headphones for this price. The sound quality is good and is a great starter pair of in ears.
Moving to the QT2S Triple drivers. These are my favourite, with a balanced frequency response with a slight boost in the bass, but not boomy. The bass comes out clear and pronounced. I recommend these for drummers and bass players specifically. At $50 these have an unbelievable sound.
Then the QT3S Quad drivers. Very similar to the triple drivers, but instead of a more pronounced bass, the mids are slightly more pronounced. The vocalist will love these as the voice frequencies come through extra articulate. I think keyboardist would enjoy them too.
Overall, I am impressed with all three sets of in-ear monitors and would have no problem using these in a live situation.
