Gibson’s Generation Collection rethinks some of the storied builder's most iconic acoustic guitar models to offer a number of player-focused features at a player-friendly value.

First dreamed up in 1964 and refined more than a half-century later, the innovative new Player Port is placed on the guitar's upper bout and projects a warm, intimate sound, directly at the player. A flatter fingerboard offers easier string bending and a more consistent playing experience moving up the neck. Finally, the thinly applied satin nitrocellulose finish allows the instruments to project and resonate, filling the room with the timeless, immersive sound of a Gibson acoustic.

Expertly crafted by the builders at Gibson's Bozeman, Montana factory, the Generation Collection includes the G-45, G-200, G-00 and the G-Writer EC.
