La Prima Description:
The La Prima was originally intended to be a Mini-sized version of our popular El Rayo humbuckers, but the R&D process began to steer us toward a whole new pickup and we happily followed the lead. While it has some similarities to the El Rayo in its transparent and less compressed sound, it quickly took on a life of its own, resulting in a pickup that is sparkly and clear, offering incredible dynamics and articulation. The La Prima responds exceptionally to player input; whether playing with a pick, finger-style, or a hybrid of the two, the La Prima gives you back everything that you put into it while adding a very pleasing and musical tone with rich harmonics and balance from string to string.
