When I was banging out a comprehensive demo for Seymour Duncan's Psyclone Hot Filter'Tron Pickups, I stumbled on a cool funk/reggae backing track over at www.jtc_guitar.com. "Turnstiles", it's called. So I fired up the simplest but most potent of guitar amp combos, the mighty Fender Deluxe Reverb (this one a model in the Axe) and gave it a run. Too much fun. I'm uploading this improv because I feel it illustrates the great tones to be had from two pickups, a good combo, overdrive pedal and a little room/delay. Thanks for watching.
Guitar: 2008 MIM Fender Cabronita that I bought for a song because it was abused and unloved. I stuck a new, proper Fender HT bridge on it, these pickups and gave it a setup. It's very happy now. (I love a happy ending).
