Zildjian has been making Paper Thin cymbals since the 1950s and, thanks to new advancements and innovations from their R&D team, they recently introduced five Paper Thin Crashes to the legendary K Family, available as 18", 19", 20", 21" or 22" cymbals. These impressive new crashes meld the unique qualities drummers love about Paper Thin with the characteristics unique to larger cymbal sizes.
We invited drummer and composer Kaz Rodriguez to dig into the new K Paper Thin family to demonstrate the unique tonal qualities and performance nuances of each cymbal in the line-up.
