Clear and sensitive throughout the dynamic range, the birch shell speaks while the one-piece lug maximizes the attenuating properties of the wood. The Q-type strainer is simple to adjust and replace, and the triple-flange hoop gives these drums a wide tuning window and open sound. Drummer Joe Sirois (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones) demos the two different sizes (5.5" and 8").
