Featuring a classic alder body the American Pro produces a resonant and balanced tone that sings with absolute clarity. Its lightweight enables the guitar to be played all night long without you experiencing fatigue. Alder has been Fenders tonewood of choice for electric guitars since the 1950s, with its balanced response and slight upper middle definition, the guitar is ideal for both rock and blues playing. Its attractive asethetic lends to the American Pro Strat's classic appeal. Classic Fender appointments such as aged white control knobs, angled headstock and staple pick guard finish the look.
A set of newly implemented V-mod single coil pickups are one of the main draws to the American Pro series. Featuring a mixture of alnico magnets, each pickup is indiviudally voiced relating to its specific position, each delivering a full host of high-output tones along with vintage warmth and crisp definition. In addition to this perfect trio, the American Pro also features a treble bleed circuit which maintains the high-end even when the guitar is played at low volumes.
