Strandberg’s unique guitars are an innovative blend of inspiration, engineering, quality and ergonomics. Based in Uppsala, Sweden, all Strandberg guitars are made, in their own words “by hand where ‘feel’ is required and by CNC where precision is required”. Dating back to 2007, founder Ola Strandberg created and patented the brand’s unique Endurneck shape and has matched these necks to equally impressive guitars, made distinctive by their perfectly balanced shape and headstock-less necks. These super lightweight guitars, available in 6,7 & 8 string models feature a host of options (including fan fretted fingerboards) to make for a brand of particularly inventive and forward-thinking instruments for players who are interested in defining the future.

Designed to cut through a busy, dense mix, the Prog 6 utilises Swamp Ash, Maple and Ebony to ensure a clear sound with plenty of attack and clarity. Suhr humbuckers help with this task immeasurably. A chambered Swamp Ash body is topped with a beautiful maple veneer and Ebony fretboard on the roasted maple neck. The neck itself has a 20" radius with 24 stainless steel frets and of course the Endurneck profile which keeps your hand in the ultimate playing position right up the fretboard.
