Rabea Massaad, Rob Chapman’s six string partner in crime, is honoured with not one but two signature guitars! The other is a Baritone model but this one is a standard 25.5” six string based on the ML3 but with some interesting details.

Using a similar T-style body and reversed headstock to the ML3 Modern, the ML3 Bea opts for a flat top rather than the carved , arched top of the Modern. This body is made from Alder and has a Flamed Maple top. The customary Satin finish is Smoke here, showing off the Maple’s Flames in a moody fashion.

Rabea has opted for a distinctive Padauk neck with a back-angled headstock and a satin stain finish that looks beautiful and feels smooth. This guitar is ready for action! The Ebony fingerboard has 22 jumbo stainless steel frets for a lifetime’s playing.

The hardware is impressive too: a Wilkinson tremolo provides stable whammy-ing whilst two new Chapman pickups - a Henchman and a Henchman Mini - provide some high-octane ceramic sounds that are perfect for Metal, Djent and other heavy genres. A 5 way switch gives you some coil splitting options as well so you can enjoy some sweet single coil tones as well as bone-crunching sledgehammer heavy tones.

This guitar is not necessarily of interest to Rabea Massaad fans only: it is an excellent choice for any modern player who needs some hot, heavy tones in a guitar that is well put together and feels fantastic.
