I'm comparing a 2014 Marshall Super Lead SLP Reissue to a 1976 Marshall JMP Super Lead through the same 1971 Marshall 1982B cab (Celestion G12H30 55Hz Pulsonic close miked) using a 2008 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Standard Reissue (R9). I'm using a Fryette Power Station 2 to attenuate the volume. Miked with 2x Peluso 2247LE U47 clones into UA 610 preams and then 1973 (close mic) and 1975 (room mic) UREI 1176LN compressors.
